SCHOOL YEAR in Ireland 2027-2028

Book with a family that cares deeply. We offer you a detailed profile before you make any reservation. Who else does that? No one. We take care of those you love most.
Every year more Spaniards decide to live an experience in Ireland for a term or a school year, for this reason it is very important to be selective with the area where your son or daughter will live, that the family welcomes them as one of their own and that the school has the number of international students under control.

Each year we have 100% student satisfaction. Because we don't have a large number of students, they receive very individualized attention. We can put students from previous years and their parents in touch to ask for details before they make a firm booking.

On the other hand, our selection of families and schools is becoming more selective every year.

We would like to explain how our procedure works.

How does it all begin? We receive a call or email expressing interest in the program. We try to arrange an in-person meeting, or if that's not possible, an online meeting with the participant's parents or guardians. Of course, it's very important that the participant is present at the meeting, as this helps us get a better understanding of their needs and find the most suitable location.

What is the purpose of that meeting?

Sandrine personally conducts these meetings. We get an idea of whether they want a co-ed school or are open to a single-gender school, whether sports are very important to the participant, which sport, and if it's possible for them to continue practicing it. If it's a sport not commonly practiced in Ireland, we try to open their minds to other alternatives. Another important aspect for our students is whether the family has children, for family integration. If the student requests this, we certainly make it happen. We also open their minds to the possibility of the family having younger children, since teenagers are unpredictable and we can't force them to interact with our student.

Specific requests: families with horses, who live on farms... since we don't have hundreds of students in this program we manage to get them, it's not easy to achieve, it takes longer to get the family profile, but I can say that yes, it is feasible.

Number of Spanish students in Irish high schools: we think our children are among the few who dare to take this incredible step, but I'm afraid to tell you that's not the case. There are high schools where there can be up to 20 Spaniards in a class. These schools work with many companies and do not limit the number of students with the same mother tongue, so you have to be very careful in this regard.

We can guarantee that there won't be many Spaniards at the school your daughter or son attends, provided you take our advice.

Within what timeframe will we have the different options?

Once we have clear information about the specific requests from the family and the student, we look for the best alternatives within a relatively short timeframe. If there are any holidays or it's the end of August, which is when we travel with the students to Ireland, it will take a little longer, but otherwise, between 3 days and 2 weeks at most.

What is the profile of the family?

The profile will consist of several pages with photos of the house, the student's room, the family, and pets (if any). In this profile, the family will explain where they work and what they like to do in their free time. The website of the school near the family will also be included in the same email.

And the profile of the institute?

We have attached a profile of the school near the selected family. First, we selected the family that we think would be most suitable for our student, and the school will be as close as possible.

How will my child get to school each day?

Some families, living more in the countryside, will take the participant to and from school daily; other families will go by school bus every day, but it is usually no more than 30 minutes by bus max.

How many options do they offer us?

It will depend on the specificity of the request and if it is made in advance; normally there are between 2 and 3 options.

How can I confirm my child's place?

Once the biological family has examined the options, we hold a meeting to discuss which one might be the most suitable for their child. Once a decision has been made, a symbolic deposit of 500 euros is requested to confirm the family.

Next steps: To confirm the place at the institute and with the family, you have to fill out a form, sign a contract, they will ask for your passport, your latest grades, European health card, private insurance with civil liability, and also write a letter to the family sending photos of the natural family and of the participant.

Once we have all the documentation ready and the institute's approval, 20% of the program fee will be paid.
