What does it mean to be a host family in our program?
Being a host family involves much more than just providing accommodation. It means integrating the student as a member of the family, supporting them in their daily life, and helping them adapt to Spanish life, customs, and culture.
One of the main responsibilities is to provide a safe and welcoming environment, where the student has their own space, adequate food and the necessary support to feel comfortable from the first day.

Requirements to become a host family with Angloaventura
To participate in our programs as a paid host family, it is necessary to meet some basic requirements that guarantee the well-being of the student:
- Spanish nationality: essential for transmitting culture and language
- Availability and work-life balance, especially in the evenings and at night
- No criminal record
- Provide a room for the student, preferably single (it can be shared with children)
- Provide all meals of the day, adapted to allergies or intolerances
- Provide your own sheets and towels, with a change at least weekly.
The role of host families in the student experience
Host families play a key role in the program's success. In addition to meeting basic needs, the family provides essential emotional and cultural support during the student's stay.
This includes:
